Posting my older material

I originally posted on twitter and facebook that I'd start posting older material from my previous books. Sorry to say this but I'm putting that plan on hold until after the release of Approaching Humanity I'm doing this for two reasons

1. I'm repackaging my older books under the title of Re:GeNeSiS later this year so it would actually benefit that book for promotional purposes
2. From now until its release I want to keep as much attention on Approaching Humanity as possible. I've spent a long time writing this book and I want to make sure this book is on the mouths of people

Between now and the release of Approaching Humanity I will post poems that appear in this book but this will be the only material I'm posting on here for the time being

Approaching Humanity Q and A

On my facebook author page I've been doing the "Road to Approaching Humanity" to hype up the book. Each month I've posted an article about the book, a poem from the book, and one random piece about the book (ex. December I revealed one of the quotes, this month I'm revealing everyone I'm quoting).

In February I'm sharing the poem "Guilt" and the article will be about the cover, with my random piece be the revealing of the cover. Come March instead of giving a random piece I'm going t do a Q and A about the book. So if you have any questions comment on here or:

2013 in books

Last year I released three books: Aspects of Love in January, my first book of love poems. In July I released my first book of essays and short stories titled Veering Straight Ahead, and in October I teamed up with fellow indie author Ray Labuen for the book Wretched Scars. Though each book was well received I only intend to release one book this year. April 2013 I plan to release my sixth book of poetry (eighth book overall) titled Approaching Humanity.

Though Approaching Humanity is the only book of new material I'm releasing, I still have a busy year ahead of me. Earlier this month I arranged and appearred in the anthology Burning Thoughts and Flooding Ideas which I have to say was a great book to read and I'm proud of each person in the book.

At the end of the year I'm repackaging my first three books (Notebook of the Mind, Shadows & Sunshine, and Awakening with the Sea) under the title Re:GeNeSiS I had originally planned to do a five year anniversary edition of my first book but since it's only sixty pages and material in all three books were written in the same time frame. I did rewrite poems that appear in Lies of the Fearless and Aspects of Love so I am omitting those poems from the book.

Xander Price who appears in Burning Thoughts and Flooding Ideas has asked me to be the editor of his poetry book titled The Bird and the Cage So far he has only sent me 13 poems and want 55 poems in the book. It is good material and I think he wants the book out in December.

Haley Johnson who also appears in Burning Thoughts and Flloding Ideas also asked me to edit her book titled Lithia: Story of Eileen I've looked at the first two chapters so far, still editing it and i's also been a good read. There is a possibility this book will be two books if that's the case part one will be out late this year with part two being out next spring. If it's one book then it will release late2013/early 2014.

Approaching Humanity is my main priority this year. I am putting 50 poems in this book (most poems I've ever put in one of my books) and throughout the book I have put 15 quotes relating to the theme of humanity. I have shared the poems "Flawed", "The Only One", "Better (As One)" and "Be Myself Again" throughout various websites. "The Only One" and "Porcelain" appear in the anthology More than a Million Words while the poems "After All" and "Be Myself Again" appear in Burning Thoughts and Flooding Ideas
